I remember Mr. Reyes once talking about what it'd be like to have men give birth. Well, after Mr. Lee Mingwei does, we shall know.
What does a pregnant man have to do with art?
Well, Lee Mingwei is an artist himself, and he's done a lot work that's been featured in many cities, including New York. I thought he did traditional Chinese paintings, but he's actually a contemporary artist. For example, one of his projects was called "Guernica in Sand." It looks nothing like Guernica though, I admit.
He also used different materials, like cloth and wood and... tea sets? And a few of his projects reminded me of Do Ho Suh, the Korean artist we watched a film on in the beginning of the year, who built houses out of fabric.

Does Mr. Lee Mingwei has a son or a daughter? Did he manage to give birth his child?
She is a biological female. She can call herself a pumpkin if she wants, but she will always remain a biological female.
If gender is real then you my dear have a very pink girly brain which is genetically incapable of performing well that which only biological males are good at and you deserve your unequal pay because you in fact cannot perform that job as well as a man.
Transgenderism is the belief that a normal healthy sane person is born with a genderized brain which correctly matches their biological sex, while transfolk are born with a mis-matched gendered brain and body. Even though they usually don't express their belief in quite such explicit terms, it isn't possible to define transgenderism to their satisfaction without also defining normal healthy sane biological females as possessing a female gendered brain which is less good at some tasks then a man's.
Transgenderism is a mental disorder, exactly like those folks who wish to amputate a healthy limb. They can amputate body parts all they want, and that still doesn't make them sane.
Besides all that, the reason you haven't heard any more about her child is because the typical result from overloading a pregnant female's body with excessive amounts of hormones is that the child is diagnosed as developementally diasabled several months after birth.
Mr. Lee Mingwei is an artist who faked this pregnancy to show the effects of media. He fooled quite a few people and even made some startling headlines. Oh, and he is a biological male. Not a female and not a pumpkin.
