SAY LOVE SAY LOVE

Kate posted the chocolate runway post a while ago, but i just saw this picture, and it kinda made me wonder if the models will accidently eat the "art" while on the runway, since the mask is made of chocolate too..

anyways! the real reason i posted is to share this video with you guys! it's just soo cute,
and since we've been looking at paul pfeffier who works frame by frame to create video clips, and dealing with food themes..this is a clip created by 2-D animation specialists.
HA HA after this video, you just feel like life'ss goooodd..righht?

Crazy but good artist

Thanks Ev! I will take a look at that newspaper dress...

Anyway..
I just found this artists website, with all hie works on it. They are all really weird, but they are creative so I thought I would share them. He has some great ideas, though some are a little scary. He has done a painting out of blood for example.
I thought this particular piece was really cool. The artist, Phil Hansen doesn't just make his art on canvas with paint, he in this work did Jimi Hendrix out of match heads, and in the end he lit it on fire. Which looks like a massive waste of his time as it would have taken ages to create, but this artist isn't doing art for money, he is genuinly fasinated by art and ways in which he can create new and different peices that havnt been created before.
All of the artwork seen on this website are completley differnet peices from different points of view. If you look closely at one peice, you can tell the whole picture has been made out of tiny words, or bible references, and when you step back and look at the whole work, you can see that all those words together make a giant picture. Its really clever and detailed.
If you want to see more of his work heres the website :http://www.philinthecircle.com/amoment.html
Make sure you read what he has written about how he makes the work!

Recycled Fashion

I was researching for my next project when I came across this article from a while back. It's quite old but I thought it was cool to share anyway. This dress is designed by fashion designer Gary Harvey for last year's Recycle Now Week, a government-funded campaign in the UK to encourage recycling! The dress is made out of soda cans, soup cans, bottle caps, wrappers, plastic bags, etc.
And or Kate..by the same designer:
